'sacar al perro' literally means 'to take the dog out'. It is translated as 'to take the dog for a walk'.

The 'for a walk' is implied from the context. I.e. If you were taking the dog to the vet in Spain, you would probably say so. If you want to be precise you can add 'de paseo' (for a walk) and say 'sacar al perro de paseo'.

Spanish has two verbs (and many slang expressions) for being pregnant - preñar and embarazar. Preñar 'to be pregnant' is used with animals. It is derogatory when referring to a woman to use preñada and embarazada is used instead.
